The DH Lifelabs Large Cold Evaporation Filter or (CEF) is the second stage filter and it absorbs the HOCl water generated in the water tank. The HOCl water is evaporated as air passes through the CEF. This disperses the HOCl molecules throughout the airspace in the room allowing it to destroy a variety of bacteria and viruses.
